Information about the "Karma" Feature

Karma is a feature that shows the popularity of a member. Members with 5 posts or more have the ability to 'applaud' (+1) or 'smite' (-1) other members, which is how their popularity is calculated. The best way to use this feature is if someone makes a helpful post such as by posting a tutorial or article, ‘applaud’ them as a way of saying thanks and showing your appreciation. The Karma feature can also be used to deduct points from a member should they abuse the forum rules etc.

When there are more forum members and posts, we will consider offering rewards and prizes for users with high Karma scores and high post counts.
